Love it! I wish they listed diameters though. Anyone know the diameter of the Door knob?
Well done Estes!
Andrew

Very nicely produced. I have a few nitpicks, like that picture of the Low-Boom SST doesn't really show what it looks like. Also a lot of the new and most interesting-looking models are RTF.

Still, nice to see a new PSII kit, and I'm interested to try out the C5 motors.

I really like the new Space and Mars series. I am a bit disappointed that many of the models aren’t builder kits.

I note with amusement that the Cheetah is just a repainted version of the Hobby Lobby “exclusive” Solo.

I average building 10 rockets a year.
There are more than 10 new kits that I want. So more than a year's worth.
Will need to get another storage tote.........

I was surprised to see Der Red Max listed in the catalog. I thought I read somewhere on here that it was (at least temporarily) out of production? Maybe I am just losing it? (That is always a strong possibility)...

It's/was temporarily unavailable but right before the folks at Estes took time off for the holidays it was accidentally deleted from the website so there was much confusion about DRM's fate ;-)

Thanks Scott! I am happy to hear that as I have a broken fin on my current one and was looking forward to getting another.

Love seeing the return of the C5-3. I built a four motor Fat-Boy booster (Sport Rocketry plan), with 3 of the motors C5-3s (C6-0 in the booster), taking advantage of the bulk pack pricing. Great lift.

Thank you Estes.

Any of the Destination Mars or Space Corps models would be cool if I could get my 9yr old interested... oh and find a local launch site. Right now if it doesn’t say LEGO then he could care less.

Great to see the C5-3 back. That was a motor that I liked a lot back in the day. The extra kick from that initial thrust spike made it a great motor for rockets that were a little bit on the hefty side.

Would also like to see a C5-0 booster motor.

Yeah, or maybe a B8-0, which was basically the same motor except with a shorter burn. Of course, I guess we can't have it all.

I really miss the C5-3. I still have one left in my range box. Didn't want to burn it. But looks like more are coming soon :). I to wish they had a C5-0. Even a C5-5 would be nice but I am sure there isn't much room for that long of a delay. In my idea notebooks, i used to draw C5-5, and C5-7 motors that worked by having the delay element in a 13mm engine tubing that extends beyond the top of the motor. Sort of like how the RMS motors do it.

LEO Space Train, yes, please! This is not your father's Redstone/Jupiter rocket...this one is for a new generation of Explorers!

(But no snakes, I have had it with snakes on these things.)

I just checked and if my calculations are correct the Doorknob will have a 3" diameter body tube. This would be he same diameter as e.g. the Nike Smoke.
I'm definitely going to build the Doorknob as a DD two stager.

Was looking to order the Space Train online at Estes.
Saw it in the catalog but when I went into the ordering screen it is nowhere to be found to put in shopping cart.
Hope they get it in the online store soon

For 2019 Estes released rockets listed in the catalog all during the year - some as late as Oct/Nov! Hopefully we don’t have to wait that long this year o_O

Very nice catalog and some nice looking rockets coming as well. I noticed C11's are still listed, so maybe we will get those back, which would be nice. The C5 looks interesting too.

You can get them in a 12pk now. I think the C11s are here to stay! I really like C11s for small field, larger rockets.
