I may have been living in a cave lately with respect to rocketry but it seems like the stratologger CF are always out of stock. None of the vendors that used to carry them sell them anymore.

Does Peter Lawall still own the company? He was super helpful to me when I got into high power. In fact He was one of the 2 guys that signed off on my level 2 way back in 2004 at LDRS in Geneseo NY.

I did try to do a search on the forum but got nuthin. I think I have at least one of every generation of their altimeters including the one that took 2 batteries, and it still works!

the Stratologger CF becomes available whenever they get some for sale. when they get them the website will show them as in stock. be fast on the trigger and order what you need when you see them available. they sell out fast even with the 3 per person order limit. I have seen advice to check the website in the morning on weekdays. I have also seen advice to check the website on Mondays around 6pm. I don't know if either are correct. I do know that there were some available last week for a few hours and that I should have bought 2 then but didn't.

As has been said, keep checking (reloading) the product page for the CF on perfectflitedirect.com if you want to buy them direct. It showed out of stock for the first several days this week, and then some became available yesterday. I ordered 2, and they're on their way today. I see they're out again - just takes patience and persistence.

We're fortunate that there are so many great altimeter choices right now, but I do understand the affinity for Stratologgers (and my old MAWDs).
