Sorry, was uber busy yesterday with family and funeral folks still in town here on their way out, so just opened mine this morning. it was an AWESOME 29mm RAS kit. THANKS a TON Secret Santa. This will let me fly those G25 reloads. Long Burn for the win!

Also, just to be sure, did the 36" parachute come with it?
 
WHAT??? The first rule of Secret Santa is "secret" :D Anyway, love the LOC Nuke Pro Maxx. Guess I will have to work up to a J on that one. And yes, I have a tracker, just have to build it. Ain't Christmas a blast? :christmastree: And thank you very much Secret Santa!

Just got to open my gift today. Received my first Spherachute and a couple other chutes. Can never have too many parachutes. Thanks SS who ever you are.
 
Family is out of the house and I finally get to catch up on rocket stuff. Santa brought not one but TWO 1.6” Madcow kits! A Bomarc and AGM-33 Pike. Looking forward to getting these started.

I'd asked for oddball kits (very vague I know) and some other odds and ends as a backup plan and I got.... an Estes Honest John (odd nose cone)... a FlisKit Spitfire (extremely odd, that's the one out of the Far Side cartoon), and some F-39 motors. Nice!
 
To my Secret Santa
I was going through the parts and what not for the MDRM and there appears to be a couple of issues. Not sure where the kit came from but if you're like me then when you pay for something you expect to get that something.
I don't wanna post the issues here, so if you could PM me, or If you wanna stay anonymous, we can go through Papa Elf.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my ,ailman brought to me:
Two twelve packs of assorted Q-Jet rocket engines.

I guess that answers the "Box 1 of 2" mystery. Thanks!

Hi all
Sorry for not responding we Were out of the country for Christmas and New Years and only got today.
I did receive A super nice Dr Zooch Falcon Heavy from My secret Santa.
Didn’t get it opened till this evening.
And my Guess is weetie11

I thought the last rule of Secret Santa was the big reveal after all gifts are exchanged. But if we're playing guesses, mine is MikeyDSlagle.

It's usually a guessing game. Some folks never find out, and some never guess, chime in or even post at all.

My recipient did get two boxes however that recipient wasn't you.
 
Well, I didn't have much to go on, only that you said you didn't have much to go on in your recipient's wish list, and my list was (deliberately) vague.

Sorry for being late to thsi party..

I want to thank my SS (a "Joe" something..) for the two Sweet Rocketarium kits!! the AA-10 and the SA-2! (Kinda cool, that they are now packaged in little boxes, rather than a poly bag!
 
How about we start a new tradition and reveal who we had the year prior, with our guess for this year? I had Mushu last year, this year's gift came direct from Apogee, so I'm at a total blind guess as to who it was. I'll guess PatD.

FWIW, I did use my gift on Saturday at the launch. Flew a G25 Reload with the 29mm RAS in a 29/180 case. Worked perfectly and I got some GREAT data on my Flightsketch Mini vs. JL3. They were within 8 feet of each other, 15 feet on the second flight. My 3D printed case for the mini works perfectly. I think I've sent out 24 of them now.

Now that I am back in my office, I realized I forgot to mention that one of the vendors that donated towards the papa elf special also gave me a Alpha 60th Anniversary, Gryphon, and a Boosted Bertha :).

I kinda alluded to that.
Some folks don't chime in to sign up; post their lists; updates when ordered, shipped, or received; or what they got. They send an email, order a gift, get a gift and move on. All the participation is half the fun.
