They are quite rare. As I understand it the number purchased far exceeds the number produced and delivered.
Steven, I seen a Sheri's Hot Rockets Mercury Redstone on Ebay a little while ago, if you are interested.
I was going to send you a PM, but I wasn't allowed.
If you're interested, PM me and I will look it up and send you the auction. When I looked at it, it was $162. Didn't notice the cost of shipping though.
btw, Always Love to see updates on the SV! Show Piece Indeed!!!
What was/is Sherri‘s background (e.g., engineer, construction, etc.)?Sheri sold the kits and rights to Red Arrow Hobbies. RAH has since gone out of business. The only place to get any of the Sheri's kits are on the second hand market. For the Sat V, LOC had one that was similar last year.
I purchased serial #1 of Sheri's Sat V with a 54mm mount.
I don't know what Sheri did professionally. I believe her husband is/was in aviation in some fashion. When she was selling kits, they lived in the southwest. Then a move to Hawaii happened and forced the sale of the company because shipping large kits to/from Hawaii would have been too expensive. What was/is Sherri‘s background (e.g., engineer, construction, etc.)?
How did you actually sand something like that?
I don't think it will ever be as satisfying to see a rocket completed as it will this one! Been a long time coming! Looking great!
Yup, already saw that Woody. Not interested in this one, her Saturn 1b is the one I'm looking for. Thank you kindly regardless.Things are looking really good Steven! I know I don't have the patients to do such fine detail work.
I'm not sure how much your into SHR's, but I came across THIS and thought of you.
Hate to post this in a thread, but it seams I can't send you a PM.
If I happen to come across one some time, I'll let you know.
If you like, send me your Email in a PM so I won't have to post publicly.
