Rocket launch off Florida coast last night

As the article states, it was an aircraft's contrail. :)
 
It was not, no way, too many people I know saw it from Palm Beach north and they all said it looked to be coming from Vero and was off shore. This was definitely a launch of some sort. And offshore.
 
This happened after dark FYI, the link I provided was updated from the original content. Which is also very interesting. This happened after dark.

Sorry. I didn't think the OP was serious because the videos clearly show a contrail illuminated by the sun.

I doubt that a secret rocket launch would be timed to coincide with sunrise so that it would be easily visible off the coast of Florida. And "secret" launches, especially near populated areas, are never really secret since an unannounced launch could put aircraft and ships in danger (and could trigger bad responses from other countries).
 
I just got confirmation that the above night time picture was taken just after midnight on Jan 1 from West Palm Beach.
