Hi Lukun, looking great. Should fly very nicely. I like to leave my rear, or bottom CR loose till after fins are glued to MMT. Use it to center the MMT during gluing, then remove, glue fins on, run my fillets down the fin and MMT, then lastly glue in the rear CR
This is exactly what i'm trying to do!
i like to prep a syringe filled with thin epoxy. then begin inserting the motor mount. as the middle centering ring approaches the top of the fin slots i inject the epoxy as evenly as i can. then finish inserting the motor mount.
I can't use a syringe since I have Rocketpoxy, which is very thick. In John Coker's video, he waited until the mmt was inserted and then smeared glue onto the top CR.
Finally 1010 rail buttons can wait till last to install. My opinion...
Okay, so I'm pretty much going off of what John Coker's video did, and he put the back Rail Button in front of the aft CR, which I couldn't do if... wait... Is it possible that I could put it into the aft cr for support?

Rocketpoxy will thin out when you mix the dye with it. Have used it in a syringe many times. Also when dyed black on a glass fuse you can see where it has run to. Won't work on paper though.

Internal filleting sucks. More than I expected. Somehow my glove broke and i ended up using my bare finger to make these fillets.1577478129530.jpeg
I don't know how to get the fillets all the way down to the middle cr, and i hope it doesn't matter that much because right not i don't know how I'll be able to do that

Again, if you mix in the dye it will make it runnier. Dribble it down the tube onto the CR and then you can tilt it back and forth to spread the poxy out around the tube. Do this till it makes contact with all the joint in that section. let dry and repeat. 3 times for a 3 fin and 4 times for a 4 fin rocket. I use my fingers all the time. little fillets use little finger, medium fillets use middle finger, big fillets, thumb.

From your pic, not a thing wrong with your fillets. Doing a great job. If you have any thin CA you could soak the end of the MMT on the inside and let harden. I think it makes it a bit more durable.

Fleet farm has them. If you just let the glue get hard, then squeeze the syringe lightly with a pair of pliers you can usually pull out the plunger and the chunk of epoxy, to reuse it.

Use a stick like in the John Coker video. Bamboo skewers work well for this and can be found in many grocery stores and HD/Lowes.

I've done all 6 external fillets which completes most of the build. All that's left is to install the Rail Buttons, put on the aft cr, motor retainer and that's it. Today I did the external fillets which are looking nice! I won't be building again until January 4th due to a trip.1577575981063.jpeg1577576016335.jpeg1577576041197.jpeg1577576059912.jpeg

I agree with Eric's statements.

For what you are doing, the stock shock cord will do just fine. You will want to protect your shock cord, so consider a shock cord sleeve for the first 3 feet or so... Here is an example: https://giantleaprocketry.com/products/components_recovery.aspx#Shockcord_Protectors

then when you pack your parachute, take care to pack your shock cord accordingly. Nomex pads do a great job. When I build/fly 4" rockets, I use the nomex pads designed for 7.5" birds (15" x 15" or so). When I fly 7.5" birds, I use REALLY BIG pads, or a combination of several pads to protect my gear. :)

Looks like you are doing a good job. Enjoy the rest of the build and keep us updated. I have had an EZI 65, it was given away early on in my rocketry adventures. Would I build one again? Maybe. :)

I have painted the final coat of the top, and I will be launching it at Tripoli Houston on Saturday if my test goes well. I'll probably launch it on a G115 and then on an H185 for a lvl 1. It sims to 900 and 1600 feet.
