Now that I'm 3D printing more and more parts, I can incorporate more complex structure and decided to try using captive panel nuts for an electronics bay attachment to avoid the chance of losing screws out in the field.
The nuts have a small split retaining washer that threads past the threaded area and retains the screws. I added a boss to the top to spread the load out and a hollow to the bottom to make space for the retaining washer.
