I am designing a rocket with external tubes that have nosecones on the top. However, OpenRocket doesn't have an option to simulate nose cones on external tubes. Does anyone know a method for approximating external nose cones? I know RockSim can do stuff like that, but I don't want to pay the $120 for Rocksim if I don't have to. For reference, I have attached my design so far, as well as a photo of the rocket I am scaling down.

Find the CP of the external tubes with nosecones and then make tube fins but override the CP and CG of that of the pods with nosecones.

Thank you. There is no way to override CP, but you can override CG, and it looks like adding the cone would actually bring the CP forward. I will do a swing test once the rocket is built in order to determine stability and see if it needs nose weight.
