Isn't the rotating chute a BAMA design?
No the Rotating Star is Rocketmans design, totally different in every way. Rotating chutes have been around for 7 decades, we did our “spin” on it, with the alternating double star, we actually increased the Cd to 1.65 by lengthening the gores up to 18% longer. This is something I’ve been working/testing since last February.

I like that Showtime. Would be sweeter if it was 3", or even 4", but I may have to check it out.
It’s a awesome kit, possibly in the future, this is a nice Level 1/2 kit or just a fun fiberglass rocket, as it doesn’t take much money to fly it with smaller 38mm motors or adapted down to 29mm.

I see SHOWTIME is a pre-order thing with delivery in late Dec. If your airframe tubing is being done by Curits / Prolinecomposites again, what delivery guarantee are you offering ? I would hate to order one and be left hanging - he doesn't have a very good standing around here.

Nah BAMA's designs don't have a vent hole like these do. These are a hole new design.
Isn't the star different? Seriously... just asking, not real sure.
And Spherachutes and CATO had multi-gore hemispherical with a spill hole long before BAMA.
And everyone does flat sheet chutes.
And now BAMA is doing X-form/X-type/Cross chutes (BAMA may have been doing them for some time now, I don't know, admittedly don't visit the site much) which Topflight and Dino have been doing for years.
So..... "Pot..Kettle"??

The kits are being made currently, if you are not happy in anyway, I’ll be more than happy to refund your order. I have all 100 GoFast kits in my hands currently, I’m actually very impressed with Curtis’s work, quality is amazing and our relationship is very tight right now.

Great to learn about your new Rocketman products Buddy, as you continue to offer great service and an ironclad guarantee.

Keep up your innovative trending course and interaction with rocket enthusiast.

Buddy - can you provide some additional sizing info for the deployment bags? For example, they don't list diameters or lengths. And as you know, an 8 ft chute really varies between an annular or a NASA/SpaceX style. For example, if I wanted to use an 8 foot chute in a 4" body tube, what are the dimensions of the 8 foot bag?

Thanks,

Tony

Hello Tony, all of our deployment bags are completely custom, as no rocket is the same, if you order a 8ft deployment bag, I will make it 4” diameter by the length of room you have in your payload. I typically make them a bit longer and skinnier, so the slide out of the rocket more easy, also it allows you to add shock cord in the deployment bag. This helps pull the parachute out of the bag faster, and prevents the shock cord from getting burnt if it’s nylon. Which style of parachute will you be using for this bag? Thank you!

Great to know. This will be for an 8' SpaceX inspired parachute in a 4" rocket. (A 98mm CF Mongoose.) So I have a lot of length, about 18" for chute and recovery harnesses. I see that the 8' SpaceX inspired chute needs about 4x9" to pack, so I figured I'd have plenty of room for it. I should be able to pack it longer and skinnier with no problems. Just let me know how to order, thanks. I'm also ordering a 24in. Ultra Light High Performance CD 2.2 Parachute for the other end of the spectrum.

Thanks,

Tony

If you order a 8ft deployment bag on our website, I will make it 3.75” x about 14” long for this parachute. Please send me a personal message with your order number so I make sure I make it correctly. Thank you very much Tony. Btw that is a sweet rocket, just finished up my 98mm Minimum Diameter CF Tomach.
