Uhmm.. Pretty much the exact same situation here. :D
Surely it will get here in time to be repacked and sent again. I haven't ordered from this vendor in quite a while, don't remember the turnaround time.

I was thinking the same thing. "He finally made it". I didn't do any reminders this year, the list got too big and I got too lazy.:D
 
As jqavins said, got my victim. Ordered but couldn't resist a little something for myself so will have to reship. :rolleyes: Happy SS to all, and to all a good .... well you know. Flight!! :)
 
Finally home from thanksgiving travwl and have time to mention that my gift was ordered sometime last week in the turkey haze
 
Gift ordered and is being directly sent to recipient. Took a little bit of deciding, but I think they will like it.

Also, any news on the Papa Elf special? Did anything get added to it?

So far only one donor sent something. Several more offered or responded for more info but have not seen or heard anything more about it :(. Tomorrow I will try to contact them again. I usually like to get confirmation that everything is on its way before I make the drawing.

Wish i could edit this one, stupid voice to text inserted nonsense and I didn’t check it
 
Ya know.. another interesting "Secret Santa" tid-bit (for me anyways..) is that the people who participate are people I don't generally / routinely see in the forums..

This is interesting for two reason:
  1. It shows the diversity of the forums, and the characters that come to this hobby, to this forum. that is pretty cool, in my opinion.. Like in High school, you spot a cutie one day, then spend the whole grade trying to find her again!!
  2. It shows how out of touch I am with a lot of the people who post & such. Or maybe I'm too limited in the furmus I view on a regular basis..

When I get my 'victim' ( :D ) I do a bit of research to see what they've posted & which they've contributed to, and to get an idea of what they might like in addition to what they've listed. (But even then, sometimes they'll only post once or twice a month, with a post count of 248 over 5 years.. so that may not necessarily go anywhere..)

But I am happy they participate! :D
And I learn a bit about someone new!
