To start, let me say that I really am humbled by the support over the past few years. To say thanks I upped my game a little for this year's holiday sale. No code needed as the prices have all been updated in the webstore already, and are good through Cyber Monday (Dec 2nd).

20% off EggFinder and EggFinder mini sleds and sled bundles

15% off almost all other printed items (including sleds and pull pin switch kits)

10% off all other accessories (extra pull pins, eyebolts, etc)

The Fine Print

- Inventory control has been suspended for the duration of the sale on printed items. Pending order volume it may take longer than 2 days to ship an item. If the delay is expected to exceed 5 days you will be contacted with an estimated ship date, and be given the option to cancel the item or order.
- Discount on accessories limited to in stock quantities, no rain checks.
- Note: EggFinder sleds are on greater sale solely because Cris was particularly helpful and encouraging when I was getting this thing going.

I never have used any of your stuff. What would I need to mount an egg finder in a Wildman Darkstar Jr nosecone?

Thanks for the question. For an Eggfinder (full sized) you would need:

Sled (Sled and Antenna Braces option under "Mounting Packages"): https://www.labratrocketry.com/product-page/tracker-sled-eggfinder
54 Nosecone bulkhead: https://www.labratrocketry.com/product-page/54-nosecone-bulkhead-and-drill-guide
1/4-20 Eyebolt: https://www.labratrocketry.com/product-page/welded-ss-eyebolt-1-4-20

...you attach the tracker like this: https://www.labratrocketry.com/eggfinder

...and you would mount it in the NC like this: https://www.labratrocketry.com/nosecone-adapter

I got my order in for a tracker bay. Going to try and devise a way to mount it on my 3" Wildman Darkstar.

If you don't put it in the nosecone, I've had great success attaching the sleds to my shock cord. I was worried they may not be enough protection - but I recently had a bad chute deploy and the rocket landed hard. The sled kept my tracker safe and transmitting.

I hadn't thought of that. I was thinking of something like this (crude sketch) to use the empty space in the nosecone.

You can do it that way. You will need a way for it to be held in. If you use a 38 retainer on the bottom you can use a fiberglass or wood bulkhead. If you use a 38 coupler tube instead of a 38 tube you can use one of the 38 NC mounting bulkheads I make...In that case you will need to leave the tube stick out far enough to put the set screws in.

I ordered "The Works" so I guess I'll just need the fiberglass parts. I'll probably get them from one of the vendors as an addition to an order for other stuff

Thanks so much for the big response to this year's sale. The sale prices will remain through Cyber Monday, so get your switches, tracker mounts, etc. before the prices go back to normal. All printed items are still in stock, and are shipping next day in most cases.
