Has anyone flown an EZI65 on a J or more?
Yeah its built plenty strong. It is extended for DD.A EZI65 will have no problem being used for L2 flights. It's up to you to build it strong.
I don't at present have a simulation program available but Thrust Curve says 2763' on the J270.Cool. Can't wait to hear how high it goes.
That will make for a great L2 cert flight. You should be able to see the whole flight. Good luck. Post some pictures.I don't at present have a simulation program available but Thrust Curve says 2763' on the J270.
I also do not have an altimeter on board. It weighs with motor on the pad about 7 lbs. 4" diameter.
I had one in 1989 and a J125 took the fins off. When I built the current one,I built it with the thicker fins.Did you have the stock fins fail at speed then replace or did you make a preventive move and change them before a failure?
I would like to know too. I would like to use my EZ for my Level 2 cert. flightHas anyone flown an EZI65 on a J or more?
I'm planning on flying it on an Aerotech J270. 2.6 sec burn expected altitude is 2700'
On pad weight is 3152g or about 7lbs.

Not yet. It's about 80% built, and stalled. It was bought for me as a gift and ever so slightly modified by me, and intended all along for DD and an L2 flight.Has anyone flown an EZI65 on a J or more?
