Thanks John I agree that it's slightly off. Going to redo it - just need more cardboard

Took advantage of some rare 50° weather in MN this time of year (Saturday) and painted the Mozzie fin black.

Today I finished my tip to tip. I also applied to layer of epoxy to give it the gloss look. Still have to repeat the process multiple times...

What did "we" do rocketry wise yesterday? Mary and I were busy filling orders for the X-15.

Looks like I'll be busy this holiday season!

I swallowed my pride and called the hobby shop to ask for some help with a step in the build that wasn't going as expected. It was worth it!

ordered a bunch of rail buttons...a bunch. Added a 10-pack to my cart and accidentally also added a 30-pack. My wife will understand. I just have to build 19 more rockets cuz I got buttons for em!

Yea it’s serious. I had a 99% blockage. They put two stints in and I’m doing much better now. I’m waiting to go home. If I can give anyone advise, please listen to your body. I had chest pains Saturday after the launch by I wrote it off. Wed was the full tilt event. The doctor had to go in 12 times to remove all the blockage and he told my wife that the blockage had been there a couple of days.

Whew! I feel for you! I had catheterizations at two different hospitals, a few days apart, and no stent. It's a long story but I will not go to the local hospital again unless it's to visit someone, or if it's definitely a matter of life or death.

Today I received the stuff from eRockets that I'd ordered Wednesday. Holy meadow muffins, that was fast! Thanks again, Randy!

Probably better that I should have. I know this is a huge blessing and a gift. They say 90 minutes, I was stunted inside that time frame. I’m so thankful.

I masked fins. They were salvaged from an old rocket and I did not want to paint over the existing color

I was printing up a lot of model rocket odds and ends until yesterday, when I was hit with a series of non prints. My Photon just started acting odd. It had three failed prints. The last one left nothing on the plate or in the vat. It also just flunked the exposure test with a week purple with two black bars across it. Is this a known issue or anything?

I cleaned up & collimated my old Olympus Stereo Microscope. And what has this to do with rocketry? I can now see the problem on my Eggtimer Quantum. The primary ejection channel isn't working.

Trying to figure out if I can repair/patch the bottom of Long Tom's ebay after a tangled drogue landing.

The new z-axis for the Shapeoko, and some bits bits and pieces for rockets.

Putting the "bits and pieces" away, I realized that I must very soon do a "bits and pieces" inventory.

The Estes CR and coupler assortments were just a couple of bucks, and wouldn't make a difference in the shipping, so why not? Right?

Think I must do this every time I order from certain vendors. I am stupidly oversupplied with BT50 to BT55 centering rings.

Getting some fins on a LOC Tomahawk.

Stuck some fins in a LOC Semper Fi. Made some avbay lids for the coupler, and a sled with a Stratologger on it.
