Kudos on a great flight! I love the look of the X-15. I built a model X-15 when I was a kid (around the early '60s) and had a plan to build one for an Estes motor but when I went into the Air Force in 1970, my father decided to clean out things in the storeroom and threw out a lot of my models and rockets.
Worse is that my avatar is when I first got out of the service and the Estes rockets that I still had left, he threw most of those (my Saturn C1b was the biggest loss)!
I have not been active with building or flying since then and I live in the middle of a 6 million-acre forever wild park now so no real good places to fly unless I drive at least an hour and a half!
Now that I am retired, maybe I can try to build some more. I have a Bomarc that is up to painting stage but will have to wait till spring for any more work on it at this point I guess.
Well, happy to be a member here and see what is new and fun.
My first rocket was a Coaster Corp model around 1960 (I think for the year)! Have not gotten around to getting certification for levels but may next year.
