Two lightning strikes hit Apollo 12 shortly after launch and knocked out the electrical system on the CSM. Steely-eyed missile man John Aaron probably prevented an abort by knowing what switch to suggest they change to fix it, and Alan Bean helped by knowing where that switch was.
