Is there a reference analogous to Alway's Rockets of the World, but on the military side?

Peter did write "14 Missiles of the Cold War" which is available from ARA Press and NAR, I beleive. WELL worth having even if it doesn't feature the particular missile you are looking for.

Speaking of; what particular missile are you interested in finding? There are lots of folks on the forum who collect scale data and may have what you are after.

I'm hoping to expand the next edition of RotW to include a selection of obsolete missiles. Anything in particular you are looking for?

Wow, that would be awesome Peter. I have some I would love to see you do:

U.S. Skybolt ALBM

U.S. Sprint ABM

U.K Thunderbird SAM

U.K. Bloodhound SAM

Hey Dave, would you happen to have any pics and/or data for the AGM 12C Bullpup? The fat one with the funny fins...

I've got a Launch Pad kit in the works and I'd like to detail it up a bit, but the pics and info I've been able to find are not a ton of help.

Thanks!

I have a Launch Pad Israeli Gabriel III A/S, but can’t find any worthwhile information online. I’ve found a couple blurry pictures of other Gabriel versions, but not the A/S. I’d love to find out the paint scheme. From what little I've seen, It doesn't look like these missiles have much in the way of markings.

Clearest pics and video I could find are of the Gabriel V.

I've got some measurements of a display version of the Skybolt, but not with the standard nosecone, and nothing in digital format. I haven't drawn it yet. I've got some Sprint material, but it's not assembled into a complete drawing yet. One problem is that it's not quite a simple cone, and to represent the slight deviations from a cone (each segment seems to have a different taper) I may need more accurate measurements (from a museum) than what I have. I have seen Thunderbird and/or bloodhound in an eastern European magazine (Modelartz or Modelar are likely, and a lot of Modelarz magazines are online), but have nothing digital I can share.

If you want to search PDF's of Modelarz, you can try here: https://archive.org/search.php?query=subject:"modelarz"

I can only find recent Modelar magazines. I don't know if they have an older archive. The photocopies I remember predate 2000, and are probably from the 60's, 70's or 80's.

Be warned that those old eastern European magazine drawings are often just crude photo interpretations.

Sorry I can't be more helpful with your subjects of interest.
