Anyone who has built one of Steve's bays I would appreciate if you would share some pictures of you finished project. I'm in the middle of building a redundant bay and could use some ideas. There's an Eggtimer Quantum as the primary and an Eggtimer Quark as the secondary. Two Vernon 2C LiPo's for power. I'm looking for suggestions as to how to complete the wireing. Here's what I've got so far (pictures). I would like to solder all the deployment wires to the boards but would also like to know if anyone uses some kind of miniature connectors to allow for removal of the endcaps to access the interior to change batteries.IMG_20191024_192934.jpg
Thanks

They are very well done and I will post photos shortly, I have one in a 38mm Blue Tube coupler and one in a 38mm nosecone bay mod for tracking (it also flew in the nosecone of my Nuclear Sledgehammer). Steve makes excellent products.

Thanks for all the photos. Since I plan to solder my pyro leads to the boards rather than use terminal blocks I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a miniature two prong connector I could use to allow for removal of the aft end cap so that the sled can be removed without disconnecting the leads from the cap. I was thinking of installing them between the cap and the boards.IMG_20191103_190201.jpg IMG_20191103_190201.jpg

I use these JST connectors for that connection :

Order the crimping tool as well :

Yes, same as the battery. I match the 'end' cap connector to the battery. That way you can't plug the battery into the end cap and blow the charge accidentally. I also color code the wiring so I just have to match the wire colors when assembling AV-bays.

I use 24 gauge stranded wire :

One of the nice things about the SMT Designs kits is that Steve supplys all the wire and even has a "standard" color code to follow.
