One of my piano students already has theirs up. November 1st, every year.

An affront to the sanctity of Thanksgiving.

When I initially saw the subject line of the thread, I thought it was going to be about a rocket you just built.

Finishing rockets has become a running joke for me. Still working on the Saturn. Got most of the spacecraft end primered.

Thanksgiving has no commercial payoff, unless you're a turkey farmer. So the minute the Halloween stuff comes down, the Christmas stuff goes up.

We put up our tree (artificial) the day after Thanksgiving, usually.

My son and I put lights on the house yesterday, not plugged in yet but soon. Today we'll put more on the bushes. Maybe next weekend we'll get the wire frame animals into the yard which all have lights. The wife decorated our finished basement with Santas and other decorations and also put up a tree. She'll get the main floor next weekend I'm sure.

In a week or so we'll be super festive for the holidays around here!!

Same here, its a family tradition that the tree goes up Saturday after Thanksgiving.

For me relaxing is the goal. Allowing everyone else to do all the running around and planning is truly relaxing. You'll never hear me say "I can't wait for the holidays to be over."
