Astronauts Bake Cookies

The ISS astronauts will soon be able to bake chocolate chip cookies in orbit. The cookie dough is there. They just need the zero-g oven.

Most expensive chocolate chip cookies ever made? Estimated cost to fly just the ingredients into orbit: $27,000 per pound for SpaceX and $43,000 per pound for Orbital ATK. Assuming a dozen cookies to the pound that would be $2,250 to $3,583 per cookie.

I can't believe the raw cookie dough has been there since summer and no one's started nibbling on it! Everyone knows that's the best way to have a cookie!
