For those that do not participate in the Book of Faces:

It has come to our attention that Gregg Szymanski has been advertising AeroTech RMS hardware that he is unauthorized to produce and sell to anyone besides AeroTech/RCS. Gregg cancelled all existing orders with AeroTech/RCS and has chosen to sell AeroTech/RCS hardware on the internet black market. AeroTech/RCS will be issuing an official cease and desist (besides the cease and desist already posted on the Tripoli Facebook group) to Mr. Szymanski from our attorney. Tripoli and NAR members should not purchase unauthorized RMS hardware from Mr. Szymanski because to the best of our knowledge it is not certified and will not be approved for use on Tripoli or NAR ranges. Mr. Szymanski is urged to remove all Facebook and other public posts regarding advertising and sale of AeroTech/RCS RMS hardware.

For those that do partake in the Book of Faces lookup "Aerotech Consumer Aerospace" and you will find this on the top of their page. This thread is just meant as an FYI.

oddly, I can't find anything on the "super dark interwebz" on how to buy these...

Yep. Me too. I suspect there is some closed FB group out there for these but then again I didn't look real hard either. Pretty sure AT wouldn't have put this out there though if it weren't a legitimate thing. They did name the individual and all...

The person basically put an ad on Facebook offering to make AT compatible hardware for a significant discount. He even listed his cellphone number. It looks like he has removed it. Not a closed group.

Was the alleged manufacturing for AeroTech? Or was he a consumer who had outstanding purchasing orders?

The FB post quickly devolved into finding a new machinist/manufacturer and how "easy" the hardware is to make.

Like a lot of things on FB and elsewhere on the internet I really doubt the majority of those commenting know the whole story.
