I vote for Orion Starfighter (1980 catalog).

Actually there are several and also one that was never produced for the public but was made by Estes. I will start with it first. The 1/45 Saturn 1B. See the attached pic.
Also the following: 1/100 Saturn 1B; 1/70 Saturn 1B, two motor Gemini Titan; Mercury Atlas; 1/45 Scale Little Joe II with the centuri chrome body corrugated wrap., Cineroc with look of old one but with updated camera, maybe even wireless., Maxi brute V2. All for starters. I have a lot more that I would love to see that is for sure.

Up scaled SR-71 and the Interceptor E

If I had to pick just one it would be the LTV Scout, it was one of my favorites. I like scale models, cool looking paint scheme (ridiculously easy to paint too), great decal set and it was a really fun flyer to boot, even with just a C6-5. With the 18mm motors that are available these days it would be even better.

The reason I chose the Scout out of all the ones on my list (It is a lonoooong list...) is because the Scout was made from some very specific tube diameters and those are unavailable as far as I can tell. The plastic bits were made to fit the tubes, so aren't any good for anything else, so they went away too. CRs to fit the tubes... And so on. I would buy a bunch if it were ever to be re-released.

Of course, same applies to the Maxi-Brute line (I want them back too, especially the Pershing and HJ!), but those tubes are still around and parts have been cloned before, so they are a bit more doable than the ol' Scout.

What would you trade for it?

My initial thought when I first saw this thread was the same as K-Tesh: The Cineroc-Omega, 808 camera ready. We baby-boomers would all buy at least one. However, after some reflection, a Cineroc look alike is already available from a couple sources - eRockets offers a blasa/paper version and at least two of the 3D printer companies have plastic versions available.

So after some reflection, I would prefer to see something that is truly not available. And this doesn't really qualify as a single rocket, but I'd really like to see the NCR by Estes line return. Remember the Interceptor G? X-Wing? Bomarc?

Threads like this are a bit of a pipe-dream, though I remember a thread started by John B. in which several people speculated that a BT-60 or maybe BT-80 Saturn V would be popular and what do you know? Our wish came true, though probably not as a result of that thread.

I was a big fan of the Silver Comet. Built one up a number of years back to fly on G's and H's. That one got up and went.

Estes should bring back the MAXI-BRUTES, but with 29mm motor mounts . . . Especially, the V-2 !

OH! This has always been one of my favorites. I just checked an it appears that eRockets/Semroc discontinued their reproduction, so yes, Constellation. It would make a nice upscale (and I’ve seen a couple of good ones done).

I have an OOP Roachworks clone of the Scout where all the plastic pieces were done in balsa -- I think erockets/Semroc has at least the payload fairing, the top transition, and the tubes still available, not sure about the lower transition or the boattail, but you could do those with paper if you had to (and you could skip the boattail if you aren't too scale-obsessive.)
