... the Baltimore Ravens and that incredible win over Seattle yesterday! Lamar Jackson sets new NFL records with every game. The additions of Josh Bynes, LJ Fort and Marcus Peters have helped shore up the defense. Now we have a bye and two weeks to prepare for New England. And maybe Jimmy Smith, Patrick Onwuasor, and Hollywood Brown come back from injury and are ready for the second half of the season.

Woo hoo!

Ouch. Thanks for reminding me.:D
I see in the sports page that the OC of Air Force put in new plays and formations for the UH game.
It worked.:(

Not bad for the third string quarterback. He’s a senior and hasn’t played that much, I think that game will be a great lifetime memory for him!

Second game in a row that Hawaii has been steamrollered by a backup quarterback.
Sheesh.
I'm just hoping now that they can get to 7 wins and into a bowl game.
Plus Tua got injured. And Marcus Mariota got benched by the Titans.
Bad weekend for quarterbacks from Hawaii.
Go Rainbow Warriors.
Roll Crimson Tide.
Let's go Titans.

I'm with you Nyt... Generally pull for the Texas teams, but as far as football goes it's the Packers all the way.

I moved from the northeast to FTW in 2018 and did not watch much for the first year. I've always been a fan of whomever was the local franchise and as such traded the Patsies for the Cowboys. First three games this year, and I was psyched. Then they went back to their uncanny capability of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory...

Kind of reminds my of younger days when you would hear - "Texas I love, it's the Cowboys I hate."

I finally got caught up with comic book scanning/cataloging for my recent purchases. I was 8+ weeks behind. Now I just have to get everything put away, but I need to get more shelves and boxes for that.

The Cowboys are a decent team, but growing up where I did, the fans were just so annoying and obnoxious that I can't really go for the Cowboys on principle.

And again! Wowee! What a rout! Ravens 37, Patriots 20!

And this after a friend at church told me the Patriots are "unbeatable."

A quick stomp of the Bungles next week and we go 7 - 2! Right now on track for a 12 - 4 season!

Sounded like a really good game! (I was driving back to hsv from watching the Notre Dame/V-Tech game, what an interception fest....)

Still bummed the Pack lost to the Chargers after beating the Chiefs last week

Univ. of Hawaii Warriors losing on a last second field goal by Fresno State, after a ten point halftime lead.
Upcoming #1 LSU v. #2 Alabama game, and the return of Tua Tagavailoa at quarterback.
Go Warriors.
Roll Crimson Tide.
(PS Hoping for a Clemson/Bama rematch in the CFP championship game. Redemption!)

Geaux Tigers!

Shoutout to the MVP of last night's game. 179 rushing yards and 14 mph top speed

(and kudos to the announcers who just rolled with it)

Univ. of Hawaii Warriors defeating #25 San Diego State Aztecs 14-11 and taking the Mountain West Conference West division title. Will meet Boise State for the conference championship.
Woo hoo!

Well the developments are good heading into 2020!

-Packers get the bye!
-Eagles edge out the Cowboys
-Ravens win the AFC top spot
-Patriots knocked out of top-2 and have to play a wildcard for the first time in awhile.

I'd have preferred the Seahawks to take the win last nighy, but they're still in the mix.

(and my facebook feed was calm this weekend with all the Alabama fans keeping quiet. Wonder why.....)

Now that was a great Wildcard round!

-Patriots knocked out by the Titans of all people. (Will TB retire? Will he return next year so he can try to have another smug victory handshake at the superbowl?
-A win for Texas! (I'd have taken the Bills too, they're doing well recently)
-Saints knocked out by a hungry Vikings team (The Vikings are for the most part a fine team, their only shortcoming is that they're in the NFC North and are thus a regular hurdle for the Packers)
-Seattle goes forward (Can they take out the 49ers and push for their 2nd ring?
