Wow that was a spectator flight. The nicest RC flight I have seen, as far as how it flies. No doubt the person at the controls had something to do with it.

My dad (USMC) used to service those back in Vietnam. He never talks about it though. He also supported Chinook helicopters.
When I was a teen I watched one of those exceed Vne. It happened just prior to the AFB’s open house so there was not a lot of people present at the time. Those of us that were could do nothing as we watched when the wings folded and the inevitable impact with the ground. Both crew members were killed. The pilot I learned later was the husband of my American History teacher.
