First, will Houston prevail over the dreaded Yankees, or will the Bronx Bombers drop a MOAB on them?

Can the Nats overcome either one?

The Nats were red hot but they’ve had several days to cool off. Astros have recent WS experience. We’ll get the answer soon enough.

Odds are now strongly against the Astros. Only 3 teams out of 28 who lost the first two games at home have been able to come back and win the series.

The best pitching will win. The Astros haven't shown up yet. I didn't know the Nats picked up Asdrubal Cabrera, former Ranger (for 3/4th of a season). Asdrubal is just a cool name ! :)

Welp, here we are at 3-3

I'm still conflicted on whether I want the nationals to win one for the first time, or for the astros to keep it in TX

At this point, both teams have proven their resilience. Both teams should be proud regardless of who pulls this one out. Lots of Nats fans here in MD, but I'm an Orioles fan :( so I have no skin in the game.

I was SO hoping that my hometown team, the Astros, would win their second World Series. :(

Still, I'm thrilled they made it to the Series again, so soon after winning it the first time!

they have become a force in MLB since moving to the AL and rebuilding.

It even made the news in Oz...
I believe it was the first time in pro sports history, not just baseball, that in games where there is a final championship series (baseball, hockey, basketball), the visiting team won every game.

Yes it was also the case at 6 games into the series.
Also, Strausburg was 5-0 in post season, first pitcher to do that.
Side note: Pat Corbin who pitched the 6/7/8th shutout inning in game 7 was from the neighborhood I used to live in near Syracuse, NY. My nephew knows him.
