Lakewood Colorado Shutting down C.R.A.S.H launches at Bear lake

Great news!
The City of Lakewood has agreed to LET US FLY in 2020 while a long-term solution with Bear Creek Lake Park is worked out with Lakewood City Council. Thank YOU to all of our supporters!

Congratulations on the outcome and good job on staying with the cause.
Being a Councilman in our small town in NW KS myself, I have seen repeatedly that people that come before our Council with reasonable requests usually get positive results in the long run, if not always as quickly as they would like.
One thing to always remember is most elected officials/ representatives feel strongly about their role as public servants, and reasonable folks almost always can reach reasonable compromises.
Again, congratulations to CRASH prevailing for the near term with an outlook for bright long term future for Rocketry at Bear Lake.

Just curious, what side of the fence does your local government set on? If they own business', boycott them, put the hurt to them financially. Write you local paper, get your community behind you and see that the community's youth groups have chance at better education has it has for 30 years.
Sometimes, fighting extremists with their ways works bests.
