When I had "Hostile Projectiles" back 10 years ago before my late wife started her battle wife cancer I made a few kits. A scale V-2 with scale details made with a resin nose cone and tail cone. A X-15 Variant, and a German WW2 rocket plane.

All flew successfully and a lot of you enjoyed them. I have a pretty large studio with a upstairs and lots of storage and came upon the last model I was working on before I shut down. It used the X-15 nose and the rocket plane's tail cone. I never got to fly it.

It got a bit dinged up in the box sitting over the decade but looks very flyable. I will be test flying it at long last at the Lucerne dry lake bed event Roctober on the 12-13 of Oct.

I thought you might all like to see it. It's a pretty model and it looks pretty straight forward although I do plan to run a sim or two on it. Looks like it will take a D or E motor.

I had planned to kit it. I also found all the molds and original masters so if all goes well I may make it available. Something different for our ever growing collections.IMG-1880 (1).JPG IMG-1885.JPG IMG-1884.JPG

Yup. I would like to see a return of some of these kits.

Thanks. Here's some pictures of the other models. I'm not sure how popular these would be. I'm 67 now and it's getting harder to do the work alone. Long hours on your feet. I truly enjoy it thought and love to see the pictures and videos people would send me of their builds and happy faces. I have a much bigger shop, 1500 sq. and lots of room for people to work with me but this would all drive the price up on kits over that of what larger companies can provide. There's a lot to think about.

Since these are all handmade with resin cast parts they would naturally cost more than the average kit with laser cut fins and blow molded common nosecones. I just wonder if the market will bare it. I tried to keep my models different from what others are offering as I don't want to be in competition but would rather add to the pool that creates more income for everyone.

I'm thinking about it. After a long career making movie magic they have more or less put me to pasture. I want to stay busy.IMG-1450.jpg IMG-1451.jpg V23 045.jpg assembled3-1.JPG frontpage-2.JPG

Pretty neat stuff, love the V2 (its one of my favorite builds), the X-15 variants are also pretty neat.

You could update the wings and easily do an A-4B with the tail section of the A23 and the nose from the V-2, I think that would be popular too.

Very smart Frank. Thank you that's a good idea. Now to find the molds.

I found all the masters to the original kits and will make all new molds next week. There has been a lot of interest and support to bring these backs from past patrons of my former "Hostile Projectiles". The condition of these and the original prototypes are very good.

Funny thing is over on the RAR FB page things are booming. Not so here. Looks at the rate of requests I'm getting for them on Facebook I'll be making some molds next week.

+1 FB sucks for continuous threads, as it constantly updates the to whatever is the most recent post by anyone, at least here I can go to a forum section and easily locate recent threads
Absolutely. Yet people tell me all the time that forums and blogs are dead. They are really the problem. Lazy. Even on FB I had a guy ask me the other day about a picture I posted. It was of an airplane I built and because I loaded three pictures they just show the thumbnail mosaic which crops the pictures. In this case is cut off the nose and I get this question, "What does the nose look like?". At that very moment I realized the poor guy didn't know those were meant to be clicked on to see the full size image. How many are doing that. They ask questions already answered in your post because they didn't bother to read what you wrote, only looked at the pretty cut down pictures. Then they tell you what you are doing wrong based on there limited perspective. Really the whole place drives me straight up the walls.

I get much more interest in kits on FB than here. But much more interesting people here:) There a lot of people on FB that don't read and ask questions that were already answered or were obvious based on the first posting...But too, I get a lot of people that say they are interested but then never order or contact me back as well, but that can apply anywhere. There's one guy who almost monthly says "man I need one of those to whatever new thing I come up with, next paycheck he says" but then he says the same thing to 3-4 other people as well that same week(including you Steve) and then never does:)

Man, searching for ANYthing in the past on FB is virtually impossible.

That's what I love about mailing lists & forums, years later I can remember how dumb I am ^_^ ( as well as as more useful stuff ).

Steve: There is a lot of interest. I will be a returning customer.
