I launched my Frick-N-Frack on a C6-0 to a B6-0. The motors were Scotch taped together. The B6 didn't light. The septation pop was quite loud. I've never had two taped together motors fail to stage. I took a picture of the nozzles of the motor in question along with the other 2 in the pack. Does the nozzle on the bottom left look like it is clogged? (Top left too? The one on the left looks pretty black). I don't want to fill out a MES if I was just unlucky, but if the motor is defective I want to. I purchased this pack in the last 3 months and it has white igniters so the are realitivly new.

I'm assuming your Frick-n rocket recovered okay. If so, I'd recommend take a small nail, scrape out the apex of the nozzle, and try the motor on the upper stage again (or the lower stage, not sure how good a flight that would be, if the B lights, it the stack may not get off the rod before it stages! I had that happen to me with an Estes Apogee II in the 70s, I was looking all over for the booster since I had recovered the sustainer, which light and flew just fine. Found the booster in the last place I expected.......on the pad.)

Thanks guys! The F-N-F does fly well on 2 B6-0's. I'll give them a scrape and give it a try next time I try flying it.

like others mentioned, scrape the motor throat. It is common to have nozzle slag covering the BP which makes ignition nearly impossible.
