Fantastic! Congratulations on the successful flight!
Thanks! The parts really went together very nicely and it turned out fantastic. Always wanted one of these and now thanks to your efforts I have one.

Is it possible to change the wall thickness of the cone. I tried printing and the walls were only around 0.40 mm Ideally I would like to see around 1 or 2 mm wall thickness. Just starting to learn Cura

The parts are designed to be printed as a single wall with 0.8mm wall thickness. 0.8mm is what you need to set in Cura assuming you are using a 0.4mm nozzle.

I've found openrocket pessimistic with the pershing and rocksim calculations for cp good, overstable and you get coning.

Very nice so far. I built the Boyce BT80 Pershing and attempted it on an E12 with like 6 oz of weight in the nose. It started coning so I'll try an E18W reload or something next in it to see if that fixes it. OpenRocket said 6 oz would bring it to like 1.1/1.2 stability.

To clarify, 535 grams is with the 29mm mount. I think it was about 485 grams with the 24mm.

I am at 506 grams with nose weight. I used an 24mm F motor to balance. I originally had about 50 grams of lead BBs in the nose but felt it need a little more to get it to balance where Estes listed it on the Maxi Brute instructions. The nose cone with weight weighs 246 grams .
