That was mine. It flew great on a J540R three week earlier. The K695R that I used at LDRS was too much. The fins broke an inch or two above the pods. Then it was rocket rain.

Since I made the molds, I have more parts. I will rebuild it ... stronger.

Updated the drawings to include the canted 13 mm pod motor mounts.

I'm thinking 2 launch controllers: (1) for the pod motors and another for the F-44 main motor. Initiate the pod motors... once they light then fire the F-44.

Since they are different motor types, there's zero chance the (3) pod motors and the single main motor will light off at the same time.

Assuming this is a custom build

It's on the build table... but that table is starting to look like Putin's Covid conference table..

Designs like this one, that end up being a rocket that others have built, just don't get me as motivated as unique rockets, like my Cygnus Probe, Thunk!, Red Columbine, etc.

I mean sure, it's cool, but not as cool, at least IMO. More of a been there, done that, design.

Understood. It's hard to find things that no one's done before. You seem to be rather good at that, though. Part of the method, for most of us at least, is to not look too hard into what others have done. Has anyone done a cross between a birdy and Sputnik before you started Red Columbine? Maybe. Just don't go looking for it.

I don't go looking... but that's the beauty of being on a forum such as this. We learn from others.
