I went into the woods Sunday afternoon to try to recover my 2.6" DX3. I didn't get the DX3 but I did get about 50 chigger bites.

Sorry to hear about your DX3, what this the one you recently repainted? Were you able to find the rocket with the tacker?

I have my 3" Punisher hanging in a tree for 2 months now. I wasn't able to see it last month, but I'm sure I'll be able to find it when the leaves fall. We definitely should check to see if we can get a group discount on a tree climber.

No it was this one:

The tracker worked perfectly and I wouldn't have located it without the tracker because I didn't see it until I was standing directly below it. I pinned the GPS location. Not sure I want to spend $300 to get it back but if we can get a group discount on a tree climber I would be interested.

That rocket is utterly gorgeous. A tree hanging onto that is a crime.....

Here is the video from my Wildman Vindicator Jr. on a H250G. The forth time trying to ignite the motor was the charm!

Nice flight, are there tabs attached to the fins? Is that for a whistling effect?
Thanks. It is a split fin rocket which tend to whistle, but I couldn’t hear it from the ground. So it may have been the camera in the case but it’s hard to say what caused that sound.
