I just received this 4" Madcow Phoenix Missile. Upon opening the package and inspecting the contents, I noticed the body tube has some blemishes in it. Please see the picture below. I have never attempted to finish a rocket with blemishes like this before. Can I get some opinions on if this should still come out just fine and how? Or if I need to request a new body tube free of defects? Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue with a LOC kit that I built earlier this year. I contacted LOC and they sent a new tube. I figured that I'd make plenty of uh-oh's on my own, might as well start with good components to minimize my mistakes.

Those are not blemishes, those are kinks/creases. Probably received during transport by good ol' USPS. Contact Madcow customer service, show them your pics, and I'm sure they will send you a replacement tube.

I had gotten a Madcow Patriot last year for my L1 and the tubes looked like they had been in Louisiana humidity, blisters/blemishes everywhere. Tried getting Madcow to respond to emails for like 2 months but never had luck. I used the tubes as I had no choice but I vowed to never buy another kit from them again. Perhaps they’ve changed since then.
