Sullivan Lake

Hi everyone. Is it too early to start talking about Sullivan Lake?

Never too early This one is Calgary's show. Moisture has been better this year then the last several, but still not much. The fire marshal wouldn't go for our Aug 10 launch. Still no fire advisory or ban yet, which seems a little odd to me...guess we'll see.

Hopefully he gives it a "thumbs up". I'll be watching the weather.

Do you know who the RSO will be? I'd like to bring an I280DM for my L2 re-attempt. I'd like to know if the sparky propellant is a no-no.

I don't know about the RSO, I can pretty much guarantee you there will be a sparky ban IF we get a launch. Sullivan Lake is usually only held in years with decent summer moisture, and even then the tall grass is dried out and quite willing to burn...count on flying a different motor.
