Over the years It has become obvious to me that rocket people are some of the nicest people around. Everyone is excited about there hobby/obsession. People who have been around just a short time become teachers to others. Helping others with their projects or anything they need becomes second nature.

The other day I was with my grandson at a local high power launch in DFW area. My grandsons rocket we built together drifted over a mile and got stuck in a tree about 8 foot off the ground. He could not reach it.
A fellow rocket guy volunteered to loan me his new pickup truck so we could retrieve the rocket by standing in the bed. Unreal courtesy rarely found in society now days.

It seems the not so nice folks quit the first time their rocket crashes, and they will of course crash, quit out of frustration or anger over the loss. Those who handle it well and take it as just part of rocketry, go on to grow and succeed in there future endeavors. Usually with "a little help from me friends"

Just like when I joined The Rocketry Forum the other day, I posted a question and within a couple of minuets I has several responses helping me with my inquires.
Thanks to everyone on here for making it such a pleasure to be involved in the greatest hobby/ obsession on the earth.
