You are in Orange County? I was just there a week ago. My nephew and his wife just bought a really nice house in Garden Grove, so we stopped by to see it. Beautiful! He took us out to the Katella Deli. Delicious! We were on a road trip from our home in the Bay Area to visit my parents in San Diego, so we visited some friends in Palos Verdes Estates the first night and had dinner on the bluffs overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous! Then down to San Diego for a week of going to the beach, enjoying the weather, and eating our way through town. Lots of Mexican food an an epic Uber-driven pub crawl with my brother and sister. Fantastic! It’s amazing how many breweries have opened there. Literally dozens. On the drive back home, we spent the night in Paso Robles and went to our favorite winery for a tasting then out to dinner a really unique place. Wonderful! On the last day, we cut over to the coast at Cambria and drove up Hwy 1 to Monterey past all the glorious vistas over the Pacific and then cut inland to home. Not bad for a week of travel on about 80 bucks worth of gas. This state has so much to offer!
While I was in San Diego, my dad gave me an old built NCR Big Brute rocket that he had been given by a friend. Nice rocket, similar in size to a PSII MDRM, but lighter. I’m going to have to build an adapter for the odd-size NCR motor mount. In addition to PSII, the NCR kits would be great for Estes to bring back, but I won’t hold my breath!
