Anybody had any luck getting the "glider" portion of either of these rockets to fly? With the existing shroud, all I can get is a straight plunge to the ground, no matter how much I shape/bend/curl the trailing edge of the shroud.

I finally made another shroud from cardstock using the one from the kit as a template, only about 2-3 inches longer at the back. This seems to have corrected the problem of the glide, not sure how it wall affect the boost, or if the longer shroud will catch the exhaust plume form the motor.

Looking for anyone's experience so far with one of these. Thanks
 
It's interesting. A friend's glides fine, but mine dont really, just kind of wiggle down.


No worry about the exhaust, they're plenty wide
