I know that this rocket is considered a semi scale model.
What scale size would you consider it to be?

1/24.2 +/- semi-scale

There's also a White Sands "gate guard" scheme, a simple tactical scheme currently on display at the Imperial War Museum in London, and the "splinter" camo scheme as seen on the V-2 at the National Museum of the US Air Force.

Can someone post a photo of the fin black and white roll pattern all the way around.all the photos I have seen are only from one angle.
Just ordered two sets of decals from space monkey

While on the space monkey website to order the sandy decals I saw his static V2 1:24 plastic model. Has anyone thought or has bought one of these to super detail an Estes kit?
He has YouTube build videos and a lot of the parts maybe even the fin assemblies I think could be used to really add detail.
Do y’all think it’s doable

Probably simpler to just use the conversion kit that Apogee offers for the kit:

Here's a dirty little secret about this kit: I designed this to be a flying model first, as we used the parts for the the Bumper WAC models we flew in Internats competition from 2010 through 2014. A section of BT-55 fits very nicely within the airframe.

I market the kit as a static scale model because that market numbers into the hundreds of thousands, while the model rocket market is much, much smaller.

Thanks James, guess now I have to save up to get your 2 pack of V2 models and get the apogee conversion kit to make one fly.

This is the full roll pattern from the early White Sands V-2's. This is the roll pattern used on that "gate guard" or billboard paint pattern.

This shows the complete paint scheme for the Sandy flight. It's similar to the earlier fin roll pattern, but with a black tail section quadrant below the "SANDY" insignia.

The paint pattern on top was used for quite a few rounds starting with December of 1948.
