FlightSketch Mini Now Available - $18 Bluetooth Altimeter

I'd be interested in one once the Android version comes out. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Hard to believe that you can make a profit at such a low retail price, thanks for your work on bringing this out for us.

@NikeMikey Yes, there are actually three versions in active development right now.

The current Mini has minor hardware changes from the first release. The only obvious update is the addition of a status LED required for NAR contest approval. The other changes are minor board improvements for manufacturing.

I still don’t want to commit to a re-release date yet. I would really like to get this right. So far the feedback from the fielded units is quite positive.

Are you using the new app with the original altimeter firmware? If so you will need to update the altimeter to the current version. The video below shows the process for the Gen 1 hardware.
