Just ordered one. I'm sure it will be a nice kit considering the time Randy and his crew put into it. Now there is only 24 in stock:)

Randy also wanted me to say that we upgraded this kit by using ST7 and ST9 Body Tubes instead of BT20 an BT50 Tubes. ST tubes are a little bit thicker walled so they should hold up better with just a slight size difference in the outside diameter.

That's a good idea. I still have my original, that's creased really bad halfway up from trying to shake the chute open. 40+ years ago!

This is great news, I've been waiting for this kit to be released.
The use of thicker tubes is a bonus, as I destroyed my original during construction when my unskilled 11 year old hands crumpled the tubes putting it together.
Those decals look fantastic, they really add a lot to the model.

Ordered mine yesterday. I still have to build the one from Morerockets.com !

Out of stock right now. I wonder if they will kit some more? Duh...

For those who can't wait, other vendors have them in stock right now. But I expect eRockets to have more soon. It's obviously a popular kit.

I got some bad news for you les, you should have ordered two Jupiter B kits. They are fun to fly as is, but two of them staged is awesome. Randy tried it at one of our club launches and it was so cool we told him he needed to market them that way. So far he hasn't.

Thanks Randy & Phil, this looks like a fantastic reproduction. With the white decals, silver wrap, and upgraded body tubes, it's worth the wait and every penny of $49.99. Long live Semroc! :D

Hmmmm, is there such a thing as TOO easy?:D

Nope! :p

Thx for the heads up on Chris's blog. It will come in very handy.

Sadly, I have not ordered my Andromeda yet. It will need to wait as I currently need all extra funds for my Pike build. I think I'll just put the Andromeda at the top of my Christmas wish list....

Hey, we're just trying to make it easy on you guys. Why work hard, when you can work smart?

IIRC the builder of the Andromeda on display at the NARAM forum is 9 years old - I doubt current me could build that clean WITH the jigs! I’ll be curious to see Chris’s finished Andromeda, betcha it’s going to look really nice.

Ordered mine 14 days ago, paid first class postage, received this today:

Emailed Randy for replacement.
Box looks like it was sat on by an elephant.
Thanks for nothing, USPS!
No Cheers.

I didn’t know Randy shipped first class. That takes out the priority insurance up to $100. I Add insurance to all first class if it’s cheaper for that very reason happening before. I received kit #13 From Randy

Received my replacement Andromeda today. Three days after I emailed Randy.
Fantastic customer service from Randy Boadway and Erockets.
Thanks Randy, now I can build, build, build!
Cheers.
