Where to get it?

I looked on Amazon and saw a bunch of stuff intended to scare off birds? Would that work?

I want something highly visible for little rockets like the Hi Flyer!

I have some yellow plastic tape that I use for most streamers. But for min diameter rockets it is just too big.

I was hoping the shiny silver metalized film might reflect light and be easer to see? If it is thin enough I might be able to roll a longer piece and fit it into the BT20?

Last time I launched a high flyer with the tiny streamer that it comes with. All I saw was the tracking smoke, never did see the rocket, never found it.

Silver mylar streamers are much easier to find, as they flicker/glitter as they move in the air.

Thanks that was what I was hoping. Maybe easier to see / find at the launch.

Not so much on amazon :D

Cheap emergency blankets are a nice source for aluminized mylar. Cut into streamers with a sharp razor blade and a straight edge.

The rolls of bird scaring film are fantastic. They REALLY show up in the sky and on the ground (and, also by personal experience, in trees).

Yes, the bird repellent tape is suitable. You can check online & hardware stores also, you may have to special order it if they don’t have it on the shelf in the store. Makes a little bit of noise on the way down too and really reflects the sun in the air and on the ground.

I totally lost sight of a third stage sustainer, but clearly saw it on the ground on the far side of a grass field thanks to the Mylar bird repellent streamer.
