Here's how I set mine up. I wanted redundancy and compatibility with other rockets. Even have room for a go pro on the back side if I cut excess hardware and grind a bit here and there. Fits both 3 and 4 inch bays, literally takes 5 minutes to swap. Currently has an eggfinder, eggtimer Quantum and Quark for backup. Also a pair of 350's and an 800mah lipo. I ran a short cable and rubber duckie out the arse to get away form all the metal...

Updating an older thread on this kit.
Finally got mine built and wanted to compare my weight to others.

Im at 76oz or 4.75 lbs. minus motor and electronics. This is with a tailcone, harness, all thread and eyebolt on the MMT. This seems to be lighter than most. Any updated from others on build weight?

Mine is 92 oz. everything loaded minus a motor. I also painted mine.

I'm at 80.4 ounces - no motor but including a 3d printed sled and my electronics. Also has an Aero Pack Tailcone retainer and stainless steel hardware. Has not been painted. I've flown it twice already - last month on an AT J250.

I'm at 96 oz loaded and ready to fly minus motor. Mine is a little heavy but it's built with redundant electronics (Eggfinder TRS and Quark) and an Aeropack tail cone.

What are some of the motors you guys have flown on this bird?
Any K-motors?

K660 put it to 12250', highest flight to date.

I flew mine on a J1299. Not sure how high or how fast. We are guessing the printed sled failed under the ~60g's. Saving the fin can.

On the bright side, it looks like an easy fix...
