Lovers of the Der Red Max, we've been hit with a double blow today...
First, Artie Johnson of Rowlan and Martin's Laugh In, passed away. He was frequently seen as Wolfgang, the curious German soldier with his catch phrase "Verrrryyyy Interesting". He was 90 years old.
Second, MAD! magazine has announced that it's ceasing publication. Alfred E Newman needs a new home... How about 1600 N. Pennsylvania Ave? (we've already done worse)
The Citation Red Max (later known as the Der Red Max) have (in my mind at least) close links to Both Artie, and MAD!
Thanks for the laughs fellas.
Rest In Peace!
