The mathematicians in charge of that sort of thing agreed it was important enough to update the consensus as presented in the text books. Still blows my mind, I was wrong for so long but very sure I was right.
 
My tadpole's bologna has a first name O-S-C-A-R, my tadpole's bologna has...
 
I see your bologna eating tadpole and raise you a tadpole eating....well I don't know WTF it is.

Pretty creepy watching it devour those tadpoles. In the third picture you can barely make two or three it had already eaten. Reminds me of the Reaper spacecraft from Mass Effect.
The thing breathed through it's... tail. Would grab a tadpole and then go back to the top and poke it's tail up. Outta the water it looked a bit like a leech. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
The pulled it from a mudhole in my yard using a little green aquarium net. We later managed to find another. So hopefully we successfully stopped this alien invasion. Whew.

Yeah I know it is some sort of aquatic beetle larva. But talk about heebie jeebies. LOL
