Bat-mite You beat me to the punch. We are showing our age......
BTW, I've been called worse, usually by my wife

For now, the easiest thing to do is to PM me and we can discuss. I have been told by our website developer that it is close to going live and you will be able to order directly from.the site

Yeah the instructions came with the kit but not the parts.
You'll need 3/8" dowel (about 4 x 4' lengths), HD cardstock, 0.050-0.075" wire and a length of BT-55 airframe. Build the bottom frame first so you have something to sit the legs in.
I used heatshrink and epoxy on the bent bits as well as to hold the wire guides at the top.
Oh and the main kit has a piece of electrical wire to simulate a tube at the bottom but doesn't really take or hold the shape needed. Ditch this and use a bit of 3/16" PVC tube from a hobby shop. Heat and bend to the required shape.
You also need some corrugated cardboard to make the jigs seen in the first photo.
Cheers and have fun!

Sorry. This has been bugging me for a while. Got my feet 'n inches messed up. Should have read 4 x 8' lengths. Wouldn't want anyone to go off half cocked!
Cheers

So here's the latest. We couldn't wait any longer to get the new website up and running, so we have a bare bones version at www.fliskits.com. Not all the kits are listed, nor are the educational series. We are working hard to get everything up and running. If you want something that is not listed, please drop us a note on the website and we will do our best to fulfill. We have many more kits available than are listed, so we are having the website updated regularly.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to ramp the company back up.

Let me see if we have all the parts to kit a Nell.
I just finished building Nell with the pad and would like to make more :) including the other Goddard kit that Flis Kit was selling

Hmmmm. That website should be down.
We are updating the available kits this weekend as we bring more kits back online

Eric, regarding the website:
When I click on kits by type/multi stage on the right hand menu I get "no products found". Shouldn't the Frick 'n Frack be in there?
Speaking of FlisKits being back, here's the Frick 'n Frack I picked up at URRF, I finally started on it last weekend, working on paint now.
If you like the Frick 'n Frack, you might also like it's little brother the Trifecta (assuming they bring it back). Mini engine powered three stager.

I added the nose cone cuz it just didn't seem complete without one. Removes for flight.:D
Filling the slots and grain now, gonna paint it red white and blue.
Cheers.

We do have some kits in very limited quantities that are not currently on the website as we only have 1 or 2. We are working hard to get the pieces and parts to bring additional kits online. Balsa wood and balsa nosecones seem to be the limiting factor in most cases. We have chosen not to go the way of plastic as we do not want to cheapen the quality. If you are interested in a kit that is not currently on the website, please PM me

Stay tuned for a potential upcoming Black Friday sale as we get closer

I know you guys have your hands (more than) full with getting this company ramped up, but nonetheless might I humbly suggest some website improvements:
1) Better photos. Many of the rockets have only a tiny postage stamp-sized drawing.
2) Fix for the square photos on the big listing page. When you have long skinny pictures of rockets, they are being auto-cropped to a square an you only see the middle of the rocket, which is.... kinda useless. E.g., this Mako photo:
upload_2019-10-1_19-5-24.png

3) Some info for the rockets? Size, weight, motors, etc.? As far as I can see there is nothing there right now but a brief description and skill level.

Together, these three items make it pretty unsatisfying browsing the site if you're new to Fliskits or at least not already familiar with all the details of the kits.

Bonus 4) alias the homepage back to www.fliskits.com. Having WPRESS in the URL is really ugly.

Is there a specific start/end time? Looking to get the spitfire.
Thanks,

I just visited your site. I'm having a very hard time with the micro-sized photos of different rocket models. I have expanded out CTRL + as far as I can and it's still not adequate. I'm one of those who is VERY visual. If I can't see it well enough, It impacts my purchasing decision, which means it gets back-burnered.

Also, I still see some models that don't have any recommended engines. I rely on that info. I'm sure many do as well. We're almost into 2020. The site looks like 1999.

I've been reading about Flis kits for a while. Now I have a chance to actually visit a site that has them, it's disappointing that teeny pics, and not ENOUGH information will most likely not cause me to purchase from your site.

Sorry to be savage about it, but it really doesn't impress me at all.

To answer both above

Sale ends midnight Sunday EST

We are working with what we have. We are updating the website regularly. If there is a specific kit or kits you are interested in, please feel free to PM me and I will reply with whatever detail you are looking for.

Adding the Morning Star and Night Whisper to the sale at $5 off.

Sale ends midnight on Sunday

Hi Eric,
I want to order a couple rockets on your Black Friday specials but there is still no shipping option to Canada. Let me know how I can order.

Thanks
Ken
