I am putting together an information web page for NSL 2019.

If you are planning on attending and bringing a special rocket or making a special flight, we would like to showcase it on the web page.

Please send me a paragraph about your project, along with the city you are from, your name and NAR number. Also a photo if you have one.

The web site should be online in the next couple of weeks, but we will be looking for projects to add right up to the start of NSL 2019.

Of course, submissions may be edited for size and content.

Please email to: [email protected]

No one is planning on a special flight for NSL 2019? At least, no one has told us about any.

If you are planning a special launch (bigger than average, in line with the theme, or perhaps something special to you?) please let us share it!

Hello? Is this thing on?

Speaking of "special to you" flight, NSL 2019 will be the 20th anniversary of my Level 1 flight. So I am planning to launch the same rocket on the same reload to commemorate... (No Apollo 11 50th, but special to me....)

Where is the web page with NSL details? Depending on the date, I might be able to make it. If I did, I'd bring along my big rocket I certed L3 on an refly it on an M1969 or larger depending on the waiver limit.

I thought I had posted the URL. I will do so. the dates are June 7 to 9.
We have not received our waiver for 2019 yet (due to the government shutdown) but we expect a 14,500'AGL standing waiver and possibly higher call-in windows. I will post details when we have the waiver in hand.

How many are planning to fly a Saturn V model of some sort at NSL 2019?

I know of at least six just from the ROC Board of Directors (including me).
I am trying to assess what kind of "special" launch we can have to commemorate the Apollo 11 anniversary.

I will be bringing a long gap stage rocket (51” gap from forward edge of booster motor to rear edge of sustainer.)

Is this the kind of stuff your are looking for?

Also some airbrake recovery rockets

Also the Squirrel

I also will try out my Newest “Gone Fission”, a rocket that intentionally rekits itself (into easily re-assemblable pieces), basically a modified version of Estes CATO

This isn’t mine, but concept is the same
