I have here a 75mm filament wound glass and kevlar hybrid tube. It is 60” long and weighs in at 820 grams. The OD is 3.125. I did my best to sand it smooth, but it still has some imperfections.

I am asking $70 plus shipping for it. Paypal prefered.

Thank you

Hi Wallace,

A 12 hour pot life epoxy is your friend in this process. First I started off with a hoop wind of fiberglass. After that finished, I loaded the kevlar and did a +/- 45 degree winding angle, hoop wind, glass/kevlar at +/- 45 angle and finally finished off with a hoop wind of fiberglass.

Ya may want to make several tubes at a time...when ya have a winder.
Most epoxies used are 1 part heat cured or long cure 2 part.

By the way nice looking tubes bud!

Absolutely, just that "she" would kill me if I spent any more money on that "crap"..

Thanks Jim, I sure will be making multiple at a time once I get ahold on more mandrels.
