Anyway know where I can get the S1B? I checked their site looks like its no longer available. Checked a few other sites and no luck.

Is this a pretty good kit for a first time build Saturn? I was thinking about the ESTES, but don't know which kit has the most fit issues?

Any feed back is appreciated.

Thank You!

Jerry Irvine of US Rockets might still have some. He bought a bunch from erockets when that kit was discontinued.

Estes S1Bs are also OOP. Decades, in fact. I'm hoping they bring 'em back.
Boyce Aerospace recently released 3D printed Saturn 1s in different block configurations. Different set of building skills, not as challenging to the craftsman. Your choice, depends on what you are looking for: learning new building skills, or easier and good looking? Cheers.

Boyce S1B does not require all the parts, etc. However, you will need to sand the 3D printed parts and then spray paint a few layers to get a good fill and finish. You are then left with the task of masking and painting to get the right patterns.

there are some Dr. Zooch 1bs on eBay as well....with a little patience that can be made into a pretty cool 1b!

I keep looking at this Boyce kit....I need to pull the trigger and go for it I think...hard to say no to a 1b...

Funny how some people think that since it is OOP, it must be worth over a $100 for even small rockets. I am not talking about the kit in question here.
