I see the 'edit' in the above post...but not on the ones I did 2 hours ago..do we have that short of a time limit to add, change or remove our foot from our "mouths"?

Yeah, it’s only an hour IIRC. Has burned a lot of folks who remember the old site and how you set up a build thread. No longer. I get locking a post after some period of time to prevent shenanigans but it would also be nice to have a build thread forum with editable posts past an hour.

(not that) Tony

I think that's the case, supporters have more time to edit threads & 4 weeks sounds about right. Angie can confirm. I'll see if I can get her confirmation.

If true that supporters get 4 weeks to edit posts that really needs to be ‘advertised’. But that really limits the value of the site to us mere mortals. Not sure that’s in the best interest of the site.

According to Admin, members get 30 days & non-members get 1 day to edit a post.

Mere mortals can use the site all they want. But, if a member is going to help support the site, they get a few extra perks. Yes, Supporting Members get a 30 days to edit a post. I have added that to the list of perks listed in the Supporting Member sign up.

There are two payment ways to become a Supporting Member.
Mere members that can afford rocket parts can afford $2.99 a month to be a supporting member.

Everyone, give it a look. It's not expensive and does help the forum.

I sure wish this thread had been in the Support forum so I would have seen it earlier.

If anyone has questions such as this, please put it in Support forum so I can get a notification.
