You should put in your listing to "Free Shipping To Canada" HA!!!

LOL...that's funny. I wonder if there's a program to email you when certain things are listed. Maybe he thinks he can capitalize on more than one being listed at a time. Oh, well.

Didn't you buy a HP V2 I wanted but didn't have the $$ at the time?

I do have 2 HP V2's, but I bought 1 from a hoby store and the other direct from LOC. Good luck with your sale ( I would love to have it ) I keep hoping Estes will bring back some of the older "greats" After you sell yours of course. :)

I've always wondered why Estes just doesn't keep the V-2 in their line-up. Although that wouldn't help your Ebay sale.

Both the Maxi and the BT080 V-2.

The same with the Mercury Redstone.

Just keep them available.

I'm high bidder right now.:D
Give it a few minutes, I'll be outbid.
What are the chances of getting an Estes V-2 for .99 plus shipping!

About as good as seeing one listed again for $.99 starting bid or no reserve.

Thanks for the action

I always list my items for a starting bid of .99. The last V-2 I sold went for over $90. You should not be surprised that someone else listed one at the same time since, on the average, I see 2-4 up every week.

I hadn't seen one in almost a month which is why I put it up. I made a mistake and left some verbiage out of the title. As a result, it was really hard to find in a search. That's why I canceled and re-listed. I think it's probably better to be behind the other one anyway. Maybe it'll work out, maybe it won't.

I'm amazed at all the people who have hoarded these kits.
I wanted one, but refuse to pay that much for any Estes kit.
I'm sorry I didn't buy the Mountain Side V2 years ago:(
It was one of the best kits I've seen.

I got out bid, it's over $50 bucks right now and it only the first day!

You were not "out bid" the highest bidder will only have his bid show 1 dollar over the last highest bidder. The highest bidder may have a $100.00 max bid and untill you go over that, it will just show as you being outbid.

That's why I always just put the max I am willing to pay and then when I get beat I'm done. Just because you put in a high bid don't mean you will pay that much I usually get it for less

Thanks. That makes today a good day, cuz, I learned something. And it didnt cost one red cent.

I bought an Estes Maxi V-2 on Ebay years ago. The detail is excellent. I converted mine to a Bumper Wac. I got one successful Bumper Wac flight out of it. Wow! :surprised: It is now ready to go again.

Looks like the Estes marketing team is dropping the ball again.

Just based on the demand they get on eBay you would think they would re-release the V-2 in one or both versions again.

I have two of the BT80 version and have no plans to build them.

You used to be able to, frequently, get a hot deal on Ebay as far as rockets but not anymore. Once in a great while, if you study the listings, search for misspelled titles, you can find a decent deal because you get a listing that doesn't see much traffic.

There are some commercial vendors that list not only a 40-45% off retail pricing but very fair shipping and combined shipping. At that point you need to pick up a couple different items to lessen the shipping hit. Otherwise, I stick to our normal online vendors.

My Ebay theory is this: I only buy if it's a screamin' deal, not because I have to have something. I'm not a collector so if I have to spend more than the parts will cost me to acquire or make myself, I won't purchase it.

60min left. Looks like it's going to go cheap...get it while it's hot.

60 min in E-bay time is an eternity......we will see how it looks in the last few seconds, thats when you will know for sure.

It closed out pretty strong in the last 5min. Off to Puerto Rico it goes.
