I like the AltAcc's, they work well in my smaller diameter rockets.
My 9" Patriot is getting a major rebuild and some updates since the landing by small drogue at RG 20.
I have dual altimeters, a wireless backup for main.
I have a 38mm tube for the AltAcc2C that I want to use for a backup drogue.
The chart says for main only, 10k resistor on drogue, main on main.
Then the chart shows 10k on main, drogue to drogue, but the notes say drogue connected to main, fires at peak!

So where do you really place the drogue charge and the 10k resistor?
See chart attached.Screenshot_20190419-211150_Drive.jpeg

The general rule is drogue to drogue and main to main.

At apogee if the drogue has lost continuity, the altimeter will fire the main. So I would connect the backup drogue to main and leave the drogue output open. This is what is recommended in the 1999 version of the Quick Notes sheet that was handiest.

Attach the drogue charge to the drogue terminals and the 10K resistor(or smaller) across the main terminals.
The arming blink should be the same for drogue to main.
Or place another backup drogue charge across the main terminals and it will fire at the altitude selected for the main. If the previous charges failed to separate the airframe, a high speed deployment is still better than no deployment.
