beautiful job!!!
that looks awesome!!
that looks awesome!!
OUTSTANDING job. Youre the first to complete a Saturn 1b with my wraps. I hope you're as happy with it's looks as I am. A real nice looking rocket and a fine piece of art, all in one. Your work at turning the wraps into decals, and your skills of applying them payed off big time. I'll say it again AWESOME Saturn, and the tribute to SEMROC is great.
Once again great work.
Frank.
Very, very good work. This build is inspirational....and sets the bar for Saturn 1B builds as Chris's blog did for the Saturn V. I'm sure it'll be linked when future 1B build threads pop up. You've got one to be very proud of there!
THX Fred!! I had a work order so I roger'd it roundly!!....
I just remembered that I had not done some 3D details, retros, fuel vents and conduits.
I am going to add those and then clear.
Might take a bit more time...may need another work order...

Excellent job on this great kit.
Just so happens I have one of these still in the box unbuilt and now you have motivated me. Iwill have to build on bad days because after that really long winter all I want to do is rockets,rc planes and happy hours.
In ordering the 3D tank fairing is the full ring or the 2 1/2 rings preferable?
Also has there been any progress on the 3D tower?
Thanks again for a great build thread.
Ed
I know it an older post but do you know if they still make the shroud and ring set and who has them.
I could not find it on etsy.
thanks
Did you find that you liked the accur8 skins? I am getting ready to start my Semroc S1B build and 65 bucks for the skins is kind of steep. Did you find they were worth it?I've been working on this winter project, and got one of the 3D printed tank shroud for the 1B.
Easy to clean up with sand paper. The fit is great. The price is right. This will help the build of the 1/70 Saturn 1B a lot.
I hope this kit becomes available again.
Here are a few pic.

I just don't know either. 65 with shipping right now on eBay. Wowzie.I know that I paid way less than 65 bucks
Don't know if I would pay that much.
